Lesson Learned // 05.11.16
thoughtI keep asking myself why I'm here and what I'm doing, what I'm getting myself into. I don't know how to answer those questions! :P
But I'm back and better than ever before. Everybody that had the type of Instagram account I do had a blog, so I wanted to have a blog. It was something I had to gain more fame for myself, not more fame for the Lord.
So here I am, trying this again, only this time it's not beauty or fashion or food or whatever. I'm doing lifestyle. As I said before, welcome to my corner of crazy.
Or corner of the living room, or corner of the garage, or corner of your bedroom... corner of wherever you are. If you're like me, you're in the kitchen, probably eating something—so welcome to my corner of the kitchen.
I did something really stupid.
I know, right? Big shock—Gray did something stupid. Okay, well, this was really especially quite stupid.
So the other day, I was going to take a shower, and the floor was wet from when my sister took her shower and trailed water out of the bathroom.
Bella, I still blame you for this to this very second.
So basically, my socks got wet. I walked into the bathroom and set my towel down only to see the horror of all horrors, the worst thing you could ever see in a bathroom and one of the things you NEVER want in your bathroom.
It was a spider, staring at me with hungry eyes. It was like the Hunger Games—and I thought that the spider would die first!
Well, long story short, I ran out of the bathroom yelling, "There's a big one!" I took a right turn into the kitchen and slipped, only to fall flat on my face. It was great, really, a fun time.
Lesson learned: Don't run away from your fears, but conquer them.
For me, I ran away from my biggest fear, a spider. If I didn't and I had conquered it then maybe I would have this giant bruise on my hip.
Ladies and gents, never run away from your fears—do me a favor and avoid the slip, avoid the bruise. I would never want you to suffer through that.
Yes, this actually happened, and yes I still have a bruise.
Lesson learned, folks!
